Like all filler injections at our Algonquin plastic surgery practice, VOLBELLA injections take only about 15 minutes to perform, and you may resume normal activities immediately after treatment. After reviewing your concerns and desired results, Dr. Thors will give you a topical anesthetic to numb the lips and ensure your comfort during treatment.

He will inject the appropriate amount of VOLBELLA into specific locations along your lips to achieve optimal symmetry and fullness, as well as smooth fine lines along the lips and mouth. Following treatment, you may experience temporary, mild swelling, bruising or redness at the injection site. Such effects typically resolve within 1 to 2 weeks. Results are noticeable immediately, and continue to improve for several weeks as the filler settles into place and any swelling subsides.
