Like other Juvéderm products, VOLUMA XC is made from hyaluronic acid (HA), a naturally occurring component of young, healthy skin. What to expect with VOLUMA XC injections in Algonquin
VOLUMA XC injections can be performed during a convenient office visit at Dr. Thors practice in Algonquin. After an initial evaluation and review of your goals, Dr. Thors will prep your skin and mark the injection points. The VOLUMA XC is then injected into the right locations to achieve a beautiful, natural looking result. Following treatment, you will receive instructions to maintain your results.
How many treatments will I need?
Most patients need only one treatment session, using two syringes of VOLUMA XC, to achieve their desired result. On average, the effect of VOLUMA XC lasts for 18 to 24 months, although every patient is different. To maintain your results, you can return to our office for a touch-up after about 12 to 14 months, before the initial effect wears off completely.
