Dr. Thors performs Kybella injections during a brief, in-office appointment at our Algonquin location. After reviewing your treatment goals, he will prep and mark the area of concern and apply a cold pack to the skin prior to injection. He will then inject small amounts of Kybella in the pre-marked locations to achieve the most even fat reduction and natural-looking results possible.

Following your treatment, you may experience mild redness or tenderness in the treated area as well as mild swelling for the next 2 to 4 days as the Kybella works to reduce the fat.

How many Kybella treatments will I need to see improvements?

The number of treatments required depends on your personal goals and the amount of fat to be addressed. Most patients choose to have a series of 2 to 4 treatments a minimum of 1 month apart.
